Eduloan, South Africa's dedicated educational financial services provider, is proud to announce the grand winner of their bursary competition held on Metro FM's Breakfast Show in January.
The competition, which required entrants to SMS the word ‘Eduloan' as well as their career of choice, saw

a daily winner of R2,000 cash as well as entry into the grand prize lucky draw.
Sinhle Mathevula, winner of the daily cash prize on day two of the competition, drew the grand prize, a bursary worth R75, 000, as well as a Mini Dell laptop - which will no doubt come in handy for all of those assignments.
"I can't believe it!" enthuses Sinhle. "Finally my dreams of studying further are about to come true. Words cannot express my gratitude to Eduloan for giving me this opportunity - it has already changed my life. Now that I can study it's like there's a light on my path. I will not let Eduloan down - I am going to work very hard at my studies and make them proud!"
Sinhle has enrolled for a two-year Diploma in Journalism at the Rosebank College in Braamfontein, starting on 23 February 2009. The balance of the bursary funds will be put towards assisting with her textbooks and accommodation requirements. This will be managed on the Edu-Xtras card. Eduloan is very aware that the high drop off rate in first year students is attributed to lack of supporting finance around education requirements (i.e. accommodation and textbooks), and as Sinhle will be relocating from Witbank, Eduloan's managed Edu-Xtras card will give her peace of mind to focus on her studies.
Other winners of the daily cash prizes of R2, 000 were: Andile Mashego, Musa Masilela, Felicia Mnyayi, Dlalisile Mthethwa, Claudette Coollen, Thabo Tladi, Phuka Mokesi, Refiloe Tsotetsi.
